Rainfall to persist in southern and eastern regions this weekend
Staff Reporter THUNDERSHOWERS are expected to persist in several areas this weekend. This was predicted by Namibia Meteorological Services, which identified the //Kharas and Hardap regions, as well as the eastern parts of the country, among the areas likely to experience more rain showers on Saturday. These areas are also expected to be particularly windy. Namibia Meteorological Services warned that the rainfall could lead to flash flooding in some places. Several areas are already flooded due to ongoing rain and hail showers, making some roads in the southern and eastern regions difficult to navigate. The public, particularly road users, is therefore advised to remain vigilant and exercise caution. RAIN AND HAIL: Photos and videos of recent hail and rain showers.
